£0.00

Venue: Zero Fashion CIC, Haydock Street, St Helens, WA10 1DD
Date: 27 November 2025
Time: 10am - 12pm

Price: FREE

This is a free session but please bring an item of damaged clothing that you would like to repair.

Join us at the Zero Fashion CIC shop for a free sewing and clothes mending workshop where you will be shown how to give some new life to those old, loved items of clothing.

This workshop is for all skill levels, the hands-on session will teach you basic sewing techniques, ways to repair damaged garments, and best practices for maintaining your wardrobe.

Discover how to give new life to your clothing while learning valuable skills that promote sustainability. All equipment and materials will be provided (apart from the garment itself), so just bring your enthusiasm and a desire to learn. Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your sewing abilities and reduce textile waste in a supportive environment.

Spaces are limited and we are expecting high demand so booking onto the session beforehand using the link below is required.

To get to the Zero Fashion CIC shop, there is a close link to the St Helens Central train station. While no direct free parking is available, the nearby Range store has 2 hours of free parking.

ZERO Fashion is a CIC working in partnership with community groups to host monthly swap shops. They’re looking to team up with a range of local organisations, groups and businesses to provide free events that aim to address clothing issues on a personal, local and global level. This event is brought to you in a partnership between the Merseyside Recycling & Waste Authority, Friends of Bowring Park, Oneday and Zero Fashion CIC. It is being delivered as part of the Zero Waste Community Fund which Friends of Bowring Park were awarded earlier in 2025.
