How to get here
At Bowring Park & Golf Course, we want to encourage our visitors to choose sustainable and healthier ways to visit us. Choosing public transport, as well as walking and cycling, is not only great for the environment but also for your health and wellbeing. We are ideally located within a few minutes of frequent rail & bus services, as well as safe walking routes.
Get here by:
Rail
We are just a 5 minute walk from Roby station, with safe pedestrian access to Bowring Park. A frequent rail service operates to Roby with services running between Liverpool Lime Street, Wigan and Manchester.

Bus
Bowring Park is easily accessible by bus, with the bus stop located at the entrance to the Park. It is serviced by the 61 and 3A bus routes.

Cycling & Walking
Walking and cycling to the Park couldn’t be easier. With bike stands available to secure your bike and safe pedestrian routes from all local residential areas, including subways and pedestrian crossing, one can easily walk or ride to the Park and enjoy its facilities.
