Join us at Bowring Park for a free songwriting class for kids aged 8 and up. This hands-on session introduces young songwriters to melody, rhythm, and lyric writing in a welcoming, supportive environment.
Participants will collaborate on ideas, learn simple techniques to shape a song, and have the chance to perform their creations if they wish. No experience necessary, just bring curiosity and a willingness to create.
This event forms a part of the 1st annual Bowring Park Music Festival. This event is being delivered through the Better Youth Spaces Fund which aims to improve access to the arts. Encouraging young people to get into the arts, perform in front of crowds and get opportunities to demonstrate their talent.
This event is part of Bowring Park’s commitment to improving access to the arts and encouraging creative expression among local youth. Space is limited; please register early.
